The National Football League's (NFL) Superbowl LVII is set for February 12, 2023, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona where the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles. Not long after Superbowl LVII, the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) All-Star Weekend starts February 17-19 at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. To be considered, you must submit a 500 - word essay on the following topic: "What's the most important lesson you've learned up to this point in your life, and how do you plan to apply that lesson going forward?"

NBA HBCU Fellowship Program

Award Amount: Varies The NBA HBCU Fellowship Program is open to full - time undergraduate and graduate students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. To be considered, you must submit a 250 - to 500 - word essay on why you are interested in the NBA and describe your future career aspirations. During this 10 - week summer program, students will intern with NBA teams or the league office within a variety of departments, including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, legal, social responsibility, and marketing.

Stuart Scott Internship

Award Amount: $3,500 The Stuart Scott Internship is available to full - time undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in journalism / communications with an interest in pursuing a career in sports journalism. You must be a student member of the National Association of Black Journalists and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. The recipient of this award will participate in a 10 - week production internship on ESPN's main campus. Interns are responsible for their own housing costs.

Adele Harris Scholarship

Award Amount: $10,000 The Adele Harris Scholarship is available to high school seniors residing in Arizona. You must be planning to pursue a career in the sports industry to be eligible for this award.

Nat Moore Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,500 The Nat Moore Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors. You must be graduating from a high school in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach or Monroe County, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and submit a personal essay of between 500 and 700 words in order to be considered for this award.

Pat Tillman Scholars Program

Award Amount: $10,000 The Tillman Scholars Program is open to full - time students who are active or veteran service members of any branch of the U.S. military, and their spouses. Selection is based on financial need, educational and career ambitions, personal achievement, community service, and responses to the required essay questions.

Baltimore Ravens Scholarship Program

Holiday Classic Scholarship

Marc E. Lewis Youth Scholarship

Award Amount: $5,000 The Marc E. Lewis Youth Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors in Massachusetts. To be eligible, you must have helped to make high school and / or community sports programs safer for and more inclusive of LGBTQ student - athletes as either a role model or ally.

OHSAA Scholarship

Deadline: 4/11/23
Award Amount: Varies The OHSAA Scholarship is available to high school seniors residing in Ohio. You must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and have received at least three varsity letters in one OHSAA sanctioned sport or four varsity letters in a combination of any two or more OHSAA sanctioned sports to be eligible for this award.

Girls in Football Scholarship

Award Amount: $5,000 The Girls in Football Scholarship is available to female high school seniors who play a form of organized football. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be planning to use your college education / experience to make an impact in the sports industry to be eligible for this award.

Linda Craig Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: 4/28/23
Award Amount: $2,500 The Linda Craig Memorial Scholarship is available to undergraduate students attending an Indiana college or university. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be majoring in athletic training, physical therapy, or a related discipline to be eligible for this award. You must also demonstrate outstanding character, integrity, and leadership.

Anthony Munoz Scholarship

Deadline: 5/1/23
Award Amount: $20,000 The Anthony Munoz Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors residing in the Tri - State region. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or a minimum ACT score of 18 to be eligible for this award. You must also be planning to attend an accredited Tri - State college or university.

TrophyCentral Sportsmanship Scholarship Award
